For those of us old enough to remember the "promise" of automation as a labor saving tool, it's no surprise that AI is just another way to throw out workers, keep profits high and let remaining workers work harder with no benefit from technology. The corrupted corporate media and the culture they create to brainwash us, the working class, from dawn to dusk birth to death. so that we believe anything corporations decide to do, is the only way thats possible, no other alternative can exist, no other reality but this anti-human system, as if Capitalism is God's plan...No place for discussion of consequences for the people who are left jobless, hopeless and eventually either taking the crumbs and futureless jobs that they may be "offered" or die off. The old capitalist strategy 'pay labor just enough to come back to work another day' no longer even necesssry. Wage slavery presented as the good life, freedom. But without workers who will buy the goods? Recession, Stagflation, Inflation, Depression. Global. CATASTROPHY.....NOT the future we should accept! We need to start now to organize, elect our own representatives -not Dems or Reps The Duolpoly- but our neighbors who share our values and only need our vote & deep support for a way forward. NMLOTE (no more lesser of two evils). RIght now the Green Party is on many ballots and can run local, state and national. It's a start. Socialism must be built from the bottom up in every way we can.
