Why is Wolff so certain that the old way is over? Aren't there any Iranians who would sell out in return for wealth and power? Couldn't trump make Iran a territory and control the country? Doesn't the strait only carry a minority of the global supply of these resources? Aren't there other avenues that could be opened, by pipeline or rail? Isn't the world moving away from fossile fuels anyway? Isn't the current paradigm temporary (as always)?
