Guards opened fire and many died—but by August 4th, feudalism was abolished. The American police forces already kill about 1100 people per year and far less of that is in self defense than we might want to imagine. The US police kill more people per capita than most, if not all, of the most repressive regimes in the world. It's been like that for decades. I only point this out as it might be good to add it to the discussion. Maybe the ICE incidents will be the final straw that gets the American people to act. I hope so.
